Introduction

Psilocybe Natalensis is a species of psychedelic mushroom that belongs to the Psilocybe genus. Native to Natal, a region in South Africa, this unique fungus has drawn the attention of researchers and enthusiasts alike for its intriguing properties. There is some confusion around a Psilocybe Cubensis strain called Natal Super Strength and Psilocube Natalensis or 'Nats'. The spores we have here are the species, Psilocybe Natalensis¹ and not the P. Cubensis species.

These are becoming very popular very quickly due to their more 'friendly' nature. They are very closely related to P. Cubensis and have been cultured in the same ways as P. Cubensis. This has allowed the spores to be easily accessible to beginner mycologists for easy microscopy work and for beginners trying out an exotic species for the first time. They are highly recommneded.

Characteristics

Psilocybe Natalensis is known for its distinctive cap, which typically ranges from conical to bell-shaped. The cap's colour can vary, often displaying shades of brown, beige, or yellow. The stem is slender and features a partial veil that leaves a ring on the upper part upon breaking.
